We appreciate the timely decision by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to issue the notice of intent to rescind and will be engaged in the next steps in the regulatory process. We share a common interest with the public in maintaining the integrity and transparency of the regulatory process in Wisconsin. The need for the Cardinal-Hickory Creek Transmission Line has never been greater. Its construction and operability will reduce energy costs, improve the reliability and flexibility of the state’s transmission system, and help support the interconnection of renewable generation in the Upper Midwest.
